type='text'>Fresh Beginnings

I'm beginning to start blogging again. Why you ask? Because I indulge in neophilia which is precisely opposite of what the title of my blog suggests. No matter how hard I try to keep things simple, I am constantly bombarded with what is the "newest" or "coolest" or "fastest" thing happening in our world. Separating simplicity with complexity just seems just to predominate my perception of the world.

The term "wabi" has no direct western translation but it is associated with unpretentious, unfinished, simple, and transient things. If you don't know what "wabi-sabi" is, I highly recommend you to look it up or go here: http://nobleharbor.com/tea/chado/WhatIsWabi-Sabi.htm.

We are a wired generation that is constantly connected to information, internet, people, ect... via electronic signals that output "1" and "0". It is no use in fighting technology since it has already permeated our way of thought. I just want to record, remember, and share things like the news, information, and products that I find interesting and worth mentioning in a conversation.

I'll keep this blog short and simple so please enjoy everything you see set forth here on my blog.
